Iznik Ultra Marathon 160K
Iznik Ultra Marathon is a 160 km individual trail race held around the Iznik Lake, the fifth largest lake in Turkey and the largest in the Marmara region. The marathon allows you to discover the rare beauty and challenges of the 160 km route. During the marathon, you will run through the green forests and enjoy stunning landscapes. You will also have to face steep descents and climbs as you progress through the day. This marathon will not only test your physical endurance, but also your mental strength and perseverance. Participating in the Iznik Ultra Marathon is not just about running, but also about taking a step towards a lifestyle.
Iznik Ultra is an individual trail race that starts and ends in the center of Iznik. The route goes counter-clockwise around Iznik Lake, and while mostly suitable for fast running, it also includes some technical trails.
Iznik Ultra starts on Friday, 19 April 2024 at 17:00 in Iznik. It ends in Iznik at 02:00 on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Notes of Iznik Ultra 160K
* Since the course follows the village roads, there are fountains on the road.
* Almost all checkpoints will have drinking water in fountains or large bins.
* Each competitor must use his own glass to benefit from the drinks.
* Competitors who wish can put the food that fits in the bag, which is the mandatory material to be transported to the SÖLÖZ (92,5K) point.
* Checkpoint refreshments are made in 3 categories:
- WATER: There is only water at the point, maybe a coke.
- MINI: Water, coke, tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits, crackers, fruit (banana, tangerine slices, etc.), soup at some points.
- SUPPLY: In addition to the Mini, the support teams can supply the competitors at these points.

Material Control in Derbent: As of April 20, 19:00, competitors passing through Dırazali and Çamdibi control points must have their flashlights and reflective vests on. Otherwise, they will be disqualified.
